The 21 drinking law is a travesty in America. I am a respectable upstanding adult citizen. The Government feels that I am responsible enough to carry a M-16 and slay human beings in war, but not responsible enough to carry a 12oz. can of beer. Where is the logic? It is a massive violation of states rights and the rights of adult citizens ages 18-20. I do not support minors drinking, but god dammit, if I am going to vote, hold a job, and pay taxes, etc. I want to able to drink my beer. If you are going to drink at ANY age do so responsibly. I have no problem with people 18-20 violation

What is this cop doing in the middle of nowhere in a random garage driving to a remote corner where these kids are? Also, why are the kids staying in place instead of running and scattering, or at least throwing their bottles somewhere? These kids should be taken off the street for being so stupid, and the cop should get a hobby.
Also, this was meant for the comments on the educational flash cartoon titled "Beer Trouble", but the submit page is not working.

On my last day as a minor, I was visiting Lake Havasu with my friend's family. My friend's father asked me to bring him a beer. I did not drink a drop and was carrying it to him. A golf cart policeman carted me off for possession of alcohol, and would not listen to my story. Though technically, that may be accurate, I was following the request of the adult who was responsible that weekend. I didn't even know I couldn't CARRY someone a beer. I have to go to court this Friday...what kind of fine should I expect.

My friend just got a MIP and she didn't have anything on her, can she get the offence lowered to something of a lesser charge?
