My parents are divorced, and I live with my mom in the state of Michigan. However, my father lives in arizona. I want to go to boarding school, because my mom is emotional abusing me, in a way. I apparently am not thankful enough for the pain she had to go through to give birth to me. When I tell her that she was the one who wanted to have children, she raises her arm up like she's going to slap me, and this has been going on for some time. Now whenever someone walks behind me, i automatically flinch. If my dad pays for boarding school, but my mom won't let me, is there anything i can do?

I love my grandparents but they are always on my case. They say I never do anything good around the house. If I try and do something she gets mad at me because I don't do it the way she wants it done. If don't do it she starts to hit me and slap me.I don't know what to do.

to the girl whos pregnant and scared her mom will kick her out- i doubt your mom will kick you out. she will be angry and disappointed but i doubt she ll do something so impulsive. give her time and then she should be supportive and even excited. i got pregnant when i was 16 and the hardest thing was to tell my mom. you really should tell her though and the best of luck to you.
