Laws - View Law: POSSESSION AND USE OF METHAMPHETAMINE

    What is Methamphetamine?
Methamphetamine is a very addictive stimulant that is manufactured in illegal labs under dangerous conditions. The manufacture of methamphetamine has a severe impact on the environment. The production of one pound of methamphetamine releases poisonous gas into the atmosphere and creates 5 to 7 pounds of toxic waste. Many laboratory operators dump the toxic waste down household drains, in fields and yards, or on rural roads causing dangerous conditions for anyone coming in contact with the waste. Effects of usage include addiction, psychotic behavior, brain damage, extensive tooth decay (meth mouth), open sores on the body, and an overall decrease in the quality of life.

    Methamphetamine Laws
Arizona law classifies methamphetamine as a dangerous drug (A.R.S. §13-3401) and makes it a crime to knowingly use, possess, buy, sell, transport, or manufacture. It is also a crime to possess the equipment or chemicals to manufacture Methamphetamine. (A.R.S. §13-3407). The criminal penalties for violation of the laws are harsh and include significant prison time and fines. (A.R.S. §13-712).

My mom has been addicted to meth since i was 8. It ruined my life, and my entire families life. It took my mom from us and i miss how she use to be. Meth is pure evil and I really believe that. It steals your soul and changes you. I've seen the effects first hand, and I've seen good people turn into stealing cheating lying tweekers right before my eyes. It's the saddest thing i've ever seen. I'd give my life for my mom to stay clean and get her life together. Meth as taken over my mom, and devistated my family. I feel so bad for all the people who do it because they can't see what it's doing.

That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard, evidently you have never done anything before because you do not do it to be cool, you do it to get drunk or high and it makes life much better, try it sometime before you say something else stupid

I disagree. Not with saying Meths is baaaad, but with the writing. Ok, so every pound makes 5-7 pounds of toxic substances. It fails to mention that every SINGLE power plant in the country produces a million times that everyday, but you don't see lawforkids saying that's wrong.

I, unfortunately, have smoked meth before. I didn't like the high (too intense). I don't think it's exactly "good," but it isn't as addictive as it's made out to be. Opiates are the only physically addictive drugs.
