    Laws - View Law: JOYRIDING

Joyriding is defined as borrowing someone’s car, bicycle, boat, or motorcycle without permission and with the intention of just using it for a while.

Even if you are just a passenger, you are still responsible and if the vehicle gets damaged you may have to pay.

Other penalties for joyriding are counseling, community service, probation, house arrest, detention, or having your driver’s license or permit taken away.

Messy from CA said: "What is it like being watched all day everyday and not to see all of your freinds." It sucks!!!!!!!! Ya well i got caught for something much worse then joy riding. But joyriding isn't really that fun. Except the first few times. I used to do it all the time this summer 3:00am in the morning in my moms car. Its not worth the risk. Even though i didn't get caught. But I came close. But I did get caught by my parents.

i know a lot of joyriders so i do and there is no point in it at all most of them are in jail now or dead!!! they have been stabbed or in a car accident. cause that is not worth wasting your life or some one elses just for a buzz in a car.
