Question: I was caught driving with a person underage who just bought beer. I had to go to diversion classes and pay a fine. What happens when I am 18, Do I have to report this incident on an employment form?

Answer:

Assuming you completed the diversion requirements on time, the charge was never formally filed or was dismissed.  Therefore, you were not adjudicated delinquent.   Most employment forms ask whether you've been "convicted", the legal term for being found guilty of a crime as an adult, or "adjudicated delinquent", the term used by juvenile courts to describe a finding of guilt for a juvenile.  You have neither.  You can safely deny both an adjudication and a conviction.
