Question: If you don’t get your license until you turn 18, do you still have to have your permit for 5 months?

Visit the Arizona Department of Motor Vehicles Website for specific guidelines for teenagers between the ages of 15 years and 7 months and under age 18. You can apply for a class D License at age 18.

if you are born 1994 -now, u cant drive until your 18. and if your 18 you have to get a permit first then 6 months later you get a license but u have to wait another 6 months after ur license so u can giv rides to minors
