Question: Can a 13 year old work in a fast food restaurants, or is it only 14 year olds?

Answer: Federal law sets 14 as the youngest age you would be able to work in a fast food restaurant, or most other jobs. Different companies may have different policies on how young they will hire people.

Not to be mean, But you can't even spell. I think you should just focus on school. Becaus enot many places will hire anyone who cant spell. And to the rest of you.. Just so you know, Its not any easier to find a job when you are older. Im fourteen and I cant find a job anywhere. So dont feel left out. Honestly, Most places hire 16 year olds at their youngest. It sucks, I know.

yes, it is unfair that there are hardly any jobs out thre for 13 teenz like me but there is a few jobs you can have like being a caddie for a golfer or babysitting. Paper route. Your own buissnes. There are also online buissness you can do. you really have to look around for those. There are lots of things you CAN do just don't get to close to the law. do your own garage sell. wHY YOU DO A GARAGE SELL WHY NOT SELL LEMONADE ON THE SIDE WITH MAYBE SOME POPCORN. oR INVITE KIDS OVER FOR story time 50 cents a ticket. Wash dogs whateva u got 2 do. For 12 yearolds do the same. Just be carefull.

It's not right that we as 13-year-old can't work because my friends and I are very mature. I especially need money to care for myself with my struggling parents. Not letting us have jobs makes it easier to get caught up in bad associations.
