All you 13 year olds need to think about what you're saying! You say, "what difference does one year make?" Think about it! If the age was 13, and you were 12, you'd say, "I'm 12! What difference does one year make?" If the age was 12, you'd say, "I'm 11! What difference does 1 year make?" So on and so forth. Just suck it up, get over it, and wait one year! You are too young to have a job!

i really want a summer job because sometimes the money my family makes isnt enough so having a job will help with paying the bills, clothes, etc. I think 13 year olds are just as capable of working as 14 year olds. one year isnt really a difference so i think this a really stupid law. anyways, the economy would flourish more because there are more workers to bring in more money, so this is the economys' loss in not letting 13 year olds work.
