I agree with Becca, we should be able to get the extra money. You might not think that kids our age should be working, or should get a job. Parents might want their kids closer to home, safe, where they can help out around the house and such. But kids don’t think that way. Yes it is true, we should help out around the house. That’s a big thing, but some kids do NEED to make money, not for clothes, not for wants, but for their needs. Some might be saving up for college

I'm 13 years old and i really need a job!! The only job we ca get is to babysit! But that really is only 20.00 dollars a night for 4 hours. My dad owns a business he said i can work there to go couping but who wants to walk around during the summer but 20.00 an hour isnt that bad :)

I think all of you are right... us 13 year olds can look out for ourselves.... now i know that you cant get us a job by the till because its to do with money... but atleast let us get jobs where we can get paid... like doing a paper-round, or cleaning the shop just before closing... i think thats atleast fair.
