Man it is so unfair that the people who don't want to ask for money from their parents can't get a job better than a paper route. In a year when I'm 14, my parents will be all over me about getting a job. The laws need to be looked over again to see how fair this really is.
P.S.: Getting a job now gives practice for other jobs when we're older.

Its so wrong that kids who are 13 cant get jobs cuz I mean if the job gets done wuts the big freake deal I sat there for hours tryin to find a job and then I figure out that only 14 year olds can get a job so someone has to do something about it cuz i gettin tired of askin my mom and dad for money because people think we dont have lives and dont want to give us money

Hi. I am thirteen years old and i also believe that we 13 year olds should be able to work. They say that they don't want people to take advantage of us, but we are teenagers and we are able to look out for ourselves. Adults say we arent, but we know that we can. Not all 13 year olds are 13 in their minds. I wish that all teenagers were allowed to work because i really need the money and i dont like having to go to my mom every time i want to get clothes or food or anything like that. okay, i'm outtie.
