13 year olds should work! from Othe said:
Maybe we are allowed to get a paper round but we have to get up early in the morning and i would like a better job than that! 13 year olds are able to do things just aswell as any 14 or 16 year old, so why should it be any different with us? i would like some extra money to buy things, i get £5 a week and i would like some more! if only someone could help.....

If we could work we would be able to make our own money and not have to grub off our parents EVERY SINGLE TIME we want to go out, or want to shop...Working can teach us all different responsiblies. Also Babysitting isnt very relible because some kids cannot find a family to babysitt for when they need money...wut if you have a phone bill to pay, or you need new clothes but your parents think you have enough...wut are you sopposed to do in my opinion 13 year olds should be able to be hired for many jobs other then "child models and newspaper boy/girls.

I mean it might be ok but we should be able to do other jobs that we WANT not what people are allowed to give because we have rights too and should be treated like every " Adult " because face it not every " Adult " acts like one

Im 13 and I need a job bad. It's alot of us mature people out here that want a job and lazy adults 21+ who are able to work and sit on their butts when we have the drive and potential to work! I think us 13 year olds should get together right a bill and change the child labor laws!
