Well, who says your livin in the country. What if you live a walkin distance away from a store like 7-Eleven or something like I do. Then you won't need to depend on your parents. And , your parents can't always supply you with money. So 13 year olds should be able to work. And I think that 12 or 13 year old should be the minimum required age for a job because at 13 your a teenager. You start wanting stuff and you become more dependant.
