Not allowing 13 year olds work is sad. I come from a big family. Some of my brothers and sisters are in college, some are getting married, some are in grade school, and some are not even in school yet. now when a family must take care of all these children, it gets stressful and money sometimes becomes scarce. So why not? Why can't someone my age get a job and work? It would be helping out. What, you think that 13 year olds are working for different reasons than anyone one else who works? No, they're not. We would just like so money. That's all.

i think 13 year old should be able to work since sometimes parents need help to pay the rent and bills. especially in my case where i live with my two brothers and single mom that can't work right now because of personal problems. i wish the states would change the law because we could be a great help to our parents and to our selves with a job.
