I understand where all you 13 and younger kids are coming from, but don't you think that when the job market is as tough as it is right now, it's kind of selfish to take a job so you can buy nail polish or CDs? There might be a struggling single parent who might need that job in order to buy food for their kids. I think the current law is a good thing. It helps kids focus on what's important (their grades and having fun) and lets adults take the jobs when they really need them. I know lots of adults who need the jobs you guys are clamoring for. I am not responding to the topic at hand derectly. The reason 13 year olds should not be able to work is right here. Look through the comments, you can see many misspellings, gammer, errors, and immature commments and ideas. I go to my school and all the kids i talk to are very immature, lazy, and would never be able to hold up a job. They would give up to easily.... sorry to say but i even think they should raise the legal working age to 16.
