The whole idea that you have to be 14 is extremely unfair. Even if you are 14 it is still hard to find a job. Us kids need money to and I am not just talking about handouts from our parents. We need to be able to make our money and it needs to be fair about how they hier the people that work that are minors.

I think its fine for pre-teens to have jobs. As long as you're willing, capable, and responsible you should just go for it. There are people who don't get allowences, or come from a strong family that can provide them of one.
P.S. Just so you know... its not against the law for someone under 14 to get a job. As long as you have a worker's permit and obey the requirements its perfectly leagal.
