13 and 14 are hardly a difference. Why should you have to wait until you are 14. If you are a good students and responsible enough to apply for a job you are responsible enough to HAVE a job. Most people could use a little extra cash and having a job is a positive way to get that extra cash and knowing that you earned it is even better. I say drop the you have t be 14 years old law. 13 year olds are just as responsible and some are even better than the older teens.

I disagree I think That Once You are Thirteen And You Want to Have A Job Then You Should be able To Get One. With A Parents Permission Of Course!

I am a 13 year old that would very much enjoy some cash right now but knowin i worked for it. I dont see why a 13 yr. old cant have a job were no different than a 14 year old. I THINK all that matter when your gettin hired is the managers decision to say if ur mature or not or ready for the job or not. If we want a job we are sure enough mature and ready. There are alot of 13 year olds that are probably better workers than 16 year olds but how would u know? cause you havent tried us..now think bout this cause i really want a job.
Thank you! J
