I agree that 13 year olds should be able to apply for jobs as long as the person hiring doesn't have a problem with it. 13 year olds are teens too!! (that's why there's a 'teen' at the end of thirTEEN) At 13, you can get bored easily and some want to start saving up for a car or other things they want. I don't get allowance and I know other people my age don't either!!!

I think that 13 year old kids should work a job that they wan't to work and that everyone should have the chance to work a job that they are able to work than just baby sitting all day all kids are going to get sick from baby sitting all day and that one time their will be a change that 13 year old kids can work a better job that they or all of us will enjoy.

i am 13, and i think that 13 year olds should have a job because parents think that we are annoying, and because when we want something they say "do you have a job? if you do then go get whatever you want." and i like spending alot of money.so we should be able to have jobs at a early age so we can get a head start on saving up for caollage, a house, and cars.
