You know what, even if 13 year olds could legally work, they wouldn't have a job. Employers do not like highering younger employees for whatever reason. i tihnk that the younger employees are discriminated and are not choosen for being young. Which should not be what is going on. "Equal Oppurtunity Employers," are a load of crud. They aren't equal, they just want the oldest applicant with experience. All I have to say for advice is start mowing lawns or something, 'cause your going to have a hard time finding work until you are at least 16 or able to drive.

I think 13 year olds should be able to work as long as they have parental permission and good grades because if your parents think you can handle a job and you have good grades your probably responsible enough to handle a job. I'm 13 and I was looking on websites for publix and walmart and other places near me and no1 would hire under 14 so I put in a search and this came up. It seems ridiculos to me that 14 year olds can work but 13 year olds cant maybe we should compare the ages and see how many diferences there are. how many diferences are there. lets all count the diferences....
