Question: Curfew for Sierra Vista, AZ for Being outside and driving?

Answer:

Each city and town in Arizona has specific ordinances (or laws) about the curfew in their city.  That means that the curfew can be much different in each Arizona city.

Sierra Vista's curfew ordinance (131.01) says the curfew for children under 18 is from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and from Midnight to 5:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday.  The Sierra Vista curfew law extends to vehicles, stores, restaurants and most public places too.

Of course, there are also a few exceptions if you are: married and over 16 years of age;  traveling to or from employment; if your parents have directed you to run an errand; involved in an emergency situation; accompanied by his/her parent or traveling to or from a lawful athletic, educational, religious or social event.

For more information about this law, visit the Sierra Vista Police Department website.

No, your 12 year old grandson can't walk the streets of Sierra Vista until curfew time IF HIS PARENTS DON'T ALLOW IT. Please take responsibility for your children and give them guidelines.
