Question: If there is a student at school that is caught with drugs is the principal suposed to call the cops?

Answer:

Yes.  Under the Arizona Department of Education School and Safety Prevention Policy school officials are required to contact law enforcement and report the possession, use or sale of dangerous drugs in a school zone. The law also requires school officials to report the sale or transfer (even giving it to someone without selling) of prescription drugs (A.R.S. 13-3411(F)).
