Question: What's so bad about credit cards?

Answer: Credit cards are not the same as cash - you may have to pay annual fees and other charges to use them. With some cards, you may be charged interest for the time between your purchases and your payment - even if you pay your bill in full. Interest and finance charges are set by the banks and retailers who issue the cards and vary with different kinds of credit cards.

people call credit cards BAD because it can allow you to buy something you can't afford. if you execrise logic when you use your credit card, they can be better than other forms of payment, because if your card info is stolen, you have time to react before being hurt by the fraud. also never get a card with a monthly fee, there are PLENTY without ownership fees available to anyone even if you don't have a credit score.
