STEVE IN TEXAS. LET ME ADD ONE THING TO BANKERS STELLAR ADVICE. IF YOU TRY REPAIRING YOUR OWN CREDIT YOU DONT HAVE THE EDGE OF PROFESSIONAL COMPANY WHO HAVE FEDERAL LAW BEHIND THEM. CREDITOR HAVE TO RESPOND TO THEIR INQUIRIES, WITHIN A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF TIME BY LAW, THAT SHOULD BE THE SAME IF YOU DID IT YOURSELF I KNOW, BUT THE REAL WORLD IS THE COMPANIES THAT MAKE A LIVING AT IT KNOW ALL THE LAWS, HAVE STAFF ATTORNEYS, AND WORD THE DISPUTES JUST RIGHT. I KNOW I TRIED REPAIRING MY CREDIT MYSELF AND I GAVE UP IN FRUSTRATION, THEY WOULD NOT GIVE ME THE TIME OF DAY. I STILL HAVE LOUSY CREDIT.
