Question: Can you be fired for no reason?

Answer: According to Arizona Statute 23-1501, employment can be terminated by either the employee or employer unless they both signed a contract for a specific length of time. Contact the Labor Relations Department listed in the government section of the phone book, in your home state to inquire about the laws specific to your situation.

I was terminated from my job after 3 months. I was out sick for 2 days, went back to work and I was terminated. My boss could't give me a good reason for letting me go. About a week later I foind out that they had plan on downsizing and getting rid of my position.

I think it is really stupid if you can get fired for being not good enough. because that is wht my mom got fired for and I think she should sue them because this woman that worked there sent really hurtfull things to my mother. So iI think taht lady should be fired!
