Question: What kind of jobs can you have at age 14?

Answer:

At the age of 14 job opportunities are still limited, but you are allowed to work.  Federal age requirements for jobs can be found at the  U.S. Department of Labor web site .

Arizona also has statutes regulating work for those under 16 - (for example you have restrictions with working in manufacturing and in a pit with a bull)

23-232. Prohibited employments of persons under the age of sixteen

Arizona also has statutes regulating work for those under 18 (for example, you don't get to work with explosives)

23-231. Prohibited employments of persons under the age of eighteen

I need a Job Becuase I need to help around the apartments and help pay off rent and to get food tell the end of the School year cause I am going to Japan for the next School year to I need to pay for it myself. I think that if you want somthing bad enough you have to work for it and not ask your parents to do it for you.

I need a job at the age 14 because I am responsible and mature about having a job at the age 14. I also want to have a job at such a very young age because I really need the money and my Parents are unable to give me the things I want.I thought that it would be better if I get my own job and help around our apartment since my mother is the only one working.
