Question: I was cited for excessive speed. The posted speed was 75 and i was driving 90. What are the penalties and what will happen to my drivers license?
Answer: The fine amount varies by court. Excessive Speeding is a three point offense. If you accumulate 8 or more points within any 12 month period, your license could be suspended or you could be ordered to attend Traffic Survival School.
