Question: Can I emancipate one parent and still live with the other?

Answer:

A youth can be emancipated - when the youth is emancipated they are independent from both parents' responsibility of care. The youth is responsible for him/her self. As an independent, emancipated person you could determine who you are going to live with - You can read more about emancipation and the rights and responsibilities of being emancipated in the "emancipation' section of the lawforkids website.
