Question: Two of my friends and I are all emancipated, and were trying to find an affordable house, would the government help us with that?

Answer: Once you have become emancipated, you are legally able to enter into contracts, including lease agreements. There are some agencies that can help you find housing and understand the lease agreement before signing a binding contract. You can visit Arizona 211 online for more information. It is also suggested that you understand the rights and responsiblities of the tenant and the landlord before entering into a lease agreement. You can visit the Housing topic on Arizona's statewide website for more information.

I would like to know how you did the emancipation because I have researched the topic for 1 year and a half, and I hear it's virtually impossible but I want to speak to someone who has had one.
