Question:

My friend is 17 and in her senior year of high school. Her parents have taken her car and she isn't allowed to use the phone, computer, tv, or eat food (unless it's a family meal). She does not have a job because she has no way to get to and from work, so she can't support herself financially. My family wants to take her in, and we would be cover her financially, but we live in Oregon. Would it be possible for her to be emancipated so she could come live with us? If not, what options are available for her (and us)?
