For Arizona possession (over 18 of course) under 2 pounds is a misdemeanor or felony and fines can be $750 - $150,000 and/or 6 months - 1.5 years. Intent to sell is a felony and is $750 - $150,000 fine and/or 1.5 - 3 years.
Intent to sell is usually when it is individually packaged by the gram or in a number of smaller baggies, or when you have a large amount.
