You MUST have a license to drive alone. Imagine... if you were walking home one night and some ignorant person without a license hits you because they don't know how to make a proper left hand turn how would you feel; better yet, what if it was your boyfriend who got hit?

Keep in mind that a Learner's Permit is provided to allow you to learn to drive under the supervision of another licensed driver. It is not a Driver's License at all. That is the reason that a licensed driver (or better yet, an instructor) be with you when you drive. Once you have passed the licensing exam for your state you can drive alone. WHAT IF I'M THE ONLY ONE AT HOME AND I HAVE TO GO TO WORK. MY BOYFRIEND HAS A LICENSE AND HE ALSO HAS A LIFE. MY PARENTS ARE EITHER GONE, SLEEP, OR BEING LAZY; SO WHAT THEN?
