Question: Is it illigal to be married to my boyfriend?
Answer: The answer to your question depends on many different things. For instance, if either you or your boyfriend are under 18, there is an Arizona law which states that a person cannot marry without the consent of the parent or guardian having custody of such person. See the answer to question 23804 for more information. There are other limitations on marriage in Arizona. A.R.S. § 25-101 lists void and prohibited marriages in Arizona.
