Question: I was arrested for misdemeanor assault when I was 15, and did the required diversion program. How do I get my record erased when I turn 18?

Answer: The Arizona law, A.R.S. § 8-349 discusses destruction of juvenile records. Section "A" states that a person may apply for the destruction of juvenile records. The statute states requirements that need to be met before the court may order the destruction of records.

In order to apply for destruction of a juvenile record, you would ned to file an application and affadavit for Destruction of Records with the Clerk of the Court in your County.
