Question:

My city has a curfew law that restricts persons under age 18 from being outside late at night.  Why was this law drafted?



Answer:

 Law enforcement agencies report that crimes involving juveniles often occur at night.  Also, the traffic accident rate for juveniles increases during night hours. Curfew law are usually enacted as a strategy to reduce crime and traffic accidents in the community.

i dont like the curfew laws because my parents let me out after curfew but the police say i have to be home or inside my yard by 10
