Question:

I just turn 20, i had a truancy for not going to school. would the court restrict my driver liscense which i just got recently or [should I ] pay the total fine?

Answer:

In Arizona, a child must attend school (public, private or home school) until age 16.  A student age 16 or younger who fails to attend school may be cited for truancy.  His or her parents may be charged with neglect as well.  The court may consider a variety of consequences when dealing with a truant student and his or her parents.  Whether one option is better than another would depend upon your particular situation.
