Question: how can a 14 year old child become emancipated?
Answer: You must be at least 16 years old to petition the court to become emancipated. See the Emancipation section of this website.

It's actually a good thing that 14 year old's cant get emancipated. You aren't old enough to take care of yourself. 14 year old children can barely get a job at McDonald's. At 16 it's almost good enough for you to at least have 2 years worth of work. So think about both sides of the argument and not just the fact that u want to have freedom or no rules.!
