Question: What is the curfew and what happens if I'm out past that time?

Answer: Curfew times are different in every city. You need to check with your city offices to find out what curfew times and dates are.

In Phoenix, the curfew is

10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for kids 15 years old and under, 7 days a week

 

12 a.m. Midnight to 5 a.m. for 16 and 17 year olds every night

 

If you are out after curfew, this is an incorrigible act and you could be arrested and prosecuted. Sometimes the police call the parents to pick up the kids.

I feel that if you want to be safe then stay inside at night, dont try to lock up other teenagers just becasue you think its safe. Can someone tell me what the difference between a 16 and an 18 year old are? becasue to me there are no differences yeah maybe 2 yers but what is a 16 year old gonna do that a 18 year old wont? And if you think its going to keep troubled kids off the street ha thats wrong if they are going to do stupid stuff let them go to juv-e that will get more of the stupid kids off the street, and less crimes.

here, i'm not sure but i hear its nothing for 17 and up but when i was in court, the kids were geting community service. i wasn't paying attention really but i know it can't be real bad... more then half the kids in trouble there were in for this very topic lol

curfew keeps us safe form being kidnapped or killed! people say curfew does do nothing for us but i say it keeps us safe so!Cops might think your a thife or robber and put in jail! SO JUST STAY IN WHEN ITS THE CURFEW TIME OK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
