Question: What is the curfew in Peoria, Arizona?

Answer: In Peoria, Arizona it is against the law for kids between 16 and 18 years old to be out in public places of the city between midnight and 5 a.m. without being accompanied by an adult over 18 years old. For kids under 16, the curfew is 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. Curfew does not apply to a kid on an emergency errand for their parents nor does it apply to kids heading directly to or from work or an organized and supervised activity (such as church).

Also, it is against the law in Peoria, Arizona for parents to allow their children to stay out past curfew.

Kids caught out past curfew is guilty of a class one misdemeanor and can be fined $50 to $150 plus fees and have to perform mandatory community service or educational programs. Parents found guilty of allowing their kids to stay out past curfew are guilty of a class one misdemeanor too, and can be fined $100-$250. Parents might also have to pay extra fees related to the City's court costs and might have to preform community service, counseling, educational programs or even be placed on probation.

i think that the PARENTS should choose how late THEIR kids stay out. and i know thats not going to happen so i think the cerfew should at least be 11. i mean come on us kids have things that we would like to do after 10. like when we spend the night at our friends houses we should be able to gather people and go have like a little late night get together. (with other legal standards) like no alcohol, or criminal activity.

I believe there should be a curfew. I think bars are closing or people are leaving at this time from a club or a party and no 16 year old should be out at this time. It is good that we have rules and follow them because they are going to have to in the real world as they grow up

I think its weird how parents don't have a say so in how long THEIR child is allowed out. I know they have their reasons, but they're not the ones raising me so I don't believe they should have a say so.
