Question: Is it legal to be given only one 15 minute break at school? Class starts at 8 and ends at 3:30 P.M?
Answer: Yes. Schools can set reasonable rules and regulations. There are no laws in Arizona that require schools to have breaks during the schoolday.

Students are not considered employees of the school (if they were, then students nationwide would most likely have to "punch in" and "punch out"), therefore OSHA's rules pertaining to rest breaks and meal breaks do not apply to students (however these OSHA rules probably apply to teachers, janitors, and admnistration).
