Question: What would happen if you were caught using drugs?
Answer: If you are caught using or possessing drugs, you would be arrested, taken to jail and charged with possession of the drug. The Prosecutor would then have to prove that you knowingly used or were in possession of a usable amount of the illegal drug.
In Arizona, the law under which you would be prosecuted depends on the type and amount of drug used or carried on one's person. The possible penalties for violation of these laws include fines, prison time, and probation depending on history of convictions and the current violation. The crimres range from a Class 6 to a Class 2 Felony. You can check A.R.S. § 13-3402 (peyote), A.R.S. § 13-3405 (marijuana), A.R.S. § 13-3407 (Dangerous Drugs including methamphetamine and LSD), and A.R.S. § 13-3408 (Narcotics including cocaine and crack) for specific definitions and penalties.

Im doing this project on LSD for health class, so far I have found good information. Although I would like to know the fines, punishment and jailtime peeps would get if they got caught using the drug by the police. Also, drugs are not cool even if peeps say they arn't, dont listen to peer pressure!

My father "hung out with the wrong crowd", he tried to stay away from them as much as possible when they were using things such as cocaine, LSD, and marijuana. He was once picking up his jacket from their house while they were doing cocaine. Before he could get out the house was raided and he got arrested. His friends told the cops what really happend and they let my dad go. Just think if he was actually using the controlled substance and got sent to jail. He could possibably still be there now.

I am not the kind of person to use drugs.. i am new to this town and which there are many wealthy people..and of course drugs with teenagers. I totally recommend think before you do anything.. think legal ,is it bad for me, and is it moral. I just the other day got expelled from school and have got to go to alternative school for 6 weeks.. my friends and i are what the call the preps of our school we are all good girls all a students and all on student council.Igot kicked off my cheerleading squad for which i am a all american NCA cheerleader... people dont even come close to think the thing
