Question: Why don't kids have the right to carry guns?

Answer:

Laws are set to protect kids and adults when dangerous instruments are involved. This applies to driving a car as well as to possession of guns. In Arizona, the law states that kids under the age of 18 are not allowed to carry guns.(A.R.S. § 13-3111). This law also provides some exceptions where kids are allowed to have and use a gun under certain restricted conditions.

For example, a kid can carry a gun if he or she is with a parent, grandparent, qualified hunter safety instructor, or qualified firearms safety instructor as long as there is permission from a parent or guardian. When involved in lawful hunting or shooting events or marksmanship practice, kids between the ages of 14 and 18 are allowed to be in possession of a firearm.(A.R.S. § 13-3111). Because there are many exceptions and details in this statute, you may want to read the law or consult a gun expert or lawyer before actually possessing a firearm.

I think kids should be allowed to carry a gun. With the only exeption that the bullets are rubber rather than lead. The reason why kids should also carry a gun so that they could use it in self defense. I let my son carry a glock 22 in a holster, and he's only 11 years old. Every time we walk into a building with people look at him like he's going to rob the place. I think kids should be allowed to carry guns after all its not guns who kill people, people kill people. The government and schools seem to have that backwards.

There is a Scandinavian country that requires all of its citizens to own some sort of firearm. The crime level of that country is somewhere in the range of over 50 percent less than our own America. How much crime whould there be if you knew everyone owned guns? I know that the U.S. Constitution says that, "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed." (Second Amendment to the Constitution.) Also, it is not guns that kill people, Its people that kill people. If a guns was

I think having a gun is dangerous but in some cases some people will only use it for show not for actually firing it. but either way guns should be illegal til your old enough to handle one and have had experiance with one.

Yeah. It's a pity adults can't carry guns too. Hey, it's a pity all the guns in the world aint just put in a huge pile and destroyed. Even the armies and cops. How cool would that be even if some people did not hand over their guns, after a few years most guns wouls have been destroyed and we'd all live in a pretty cool world.
