Question: Can you have a gun and keep it for your self defense if you need it, what are the charges if police finds it?

Answer: A MINOR is not allowed to carry a weapon unless they with their parents or grandparents and their parents or grandparents have consented to the minor carrying the weapon.

There are some exceptions, if the child is 14, 15, 16, or 17 but it has to do with lawful hunting activities.

In any case, CONCEALED weapons are unlawful even for adults.

If a child is caught with a gun and they aren't with their parents and don't have the consent of the parents, then the gun will be taken away and it is a felony crime.

Yes, it is legal to carry a weapon with parents consent, and when hunting lawfully, but what of when you are hunting people? Are then you charged for possessing a weapon?
