alrite, i do have an opinion on this topic... what if youre stranded somewhere with no phone around, and by the time you receive a SAFE ride home, its past your curfew, and your parents lock you out? if your parents having you sleeping on the streets, that should be against the law, too, shouldnt it? child neglecting, even if it is just until morning comes, and they find you sleeping on the porch steps... i just think its wrong... if they plan on locking the doors before going to bed, they should give you a set of keys... now, if you are just being irresponsible, i dont know... cuz then, youll

If you were responcible you would have been home on time. It seems your good time was more important than being responcible. Life isn't all about a good time or all about you. Disrespecting your parents is childish. If they bother you so much try making it on your own... it isn't as easy as you might think. You will soon wish you were back at home, trust me I left at 16. It was very hard. And if you think that once you leave you will only have to answer to yourself again, wrong... how about the landlord, the utility companies, your boss... the list goes on... Good Luck :)

From what I'm reading regaurdless if you're a billonaire with plenty of cash to afford your own place and "move out on your own" if you're under age, you're not allowed. So what then?

I agree. If parents love you so much (anyone for that matter) they would not be so inclined to lock you out of your home. And if we're so able to take care of ourselves for those nights they feel like leaving us in the cold, then why aren't we able enough under law to provide ourselves with our own place? They have emancipation in 50 other states for this exact reason.

umm what if you are under the age and you can't move out then what you said makes no sence what so ever.
