Question: Is there anyway you can get a drivers license if your not a legal citizen but your father is and you have living in America for 15 years?
Answer: In Arizona, you do not have to be a citizen
of the United States to obtain a driver license.
Applicants between the ages of 16 and 18 must
have a parent or legal guardian sign the 'legal guardian affidavit' on the driver
license application. The legal guardian's identification may serve as one form
of identification, but you will still need two additional documents.
You will be subject to the written, vision and
road skills test as well as the appropriate application fee.
To find out more about the Class G license for
drivers under 18, the list of the accepted forms of identification, or other
requirements for obtaining a license, a driver license manual is available online
from the Arizona Department
of Transportation.
