Question: Did Arizona pass a law where you can't drive until you are 18?

Answer: No, Arizona passed a graduated licensing law. All 15, 16 and 17-year olds applying for a graduated driver license on or after July 18, 2000, are affected by the new law, regardless of when they may have applied for an instruction permit Even holders of instructional permits received before July 18, 2000 must hold the instructional permit for a full five months before they can apply for a graduated license.

Okay so younger people have a tendency to make more mistakes, but its only because of their lack of expierience and for some lack of maturity. Say you move the driving age to 18. You then have made the new irresponsible driving age to 18 instead of 16. It takes 5 years to become a good driver. so the age should remain the same because it does not make a difference.

Very weird since I found this cconsidering I'm doing a story for the chool newspaper on teens driving. Anyway i don't think it'd be fair to say you can't get a license until you're 18 because that isn't fair to the teens who are good drivers. Everyone gets into accidents depsite age. But it's hard to say OK 20% of people ages 16-20 got into accidents so you will too. We talk about teens as if they're a whole and not thousands of seperate people. All teens are different. Some care about breaking laws others don't. It really depends on the maturity level of the teen. I do think though that they

I think that if you pass the test then you should be able to drive and if you mess up and get a ticket for acting stupid behind the wheel then you should be fined and not able to driver till you have finished school. I also think that there are alot of people or young drivers die each year because of the young driver, but the reason they die is mostly likly because they are driving stupid or the person involed in the wreck is driving stupid so that set an example for the others not to drive stupid. They shouldn't punish the ones you care and don't drive stupid for those you who do!!!!!!!!!!!!!
