Question: Do you think it is dangerous for kids to drive at 15,16,and 17 years old?

    Answer:

Statistically, teenagers, in fact persons up to the age of 25, are far more likely to be involved in fatal collisions than older people. That is why rates for insurance are so high for young persons. One reason for this appears to be differences in brain biology between kids and older folks. Recent research says kids are wired to take more risks than older people, especially when they are in groups. So kids driving in cars with other kids tend to do unsafe things, resulting in more crashes and more serious crashes. A responsible young person who has had proper training, and who understands the risks, can be a safe driver with experience.

Visit the Arizona Governor's Office of Highway Safety for more traffic accident statistics.

I learned how to drive a sports car when I was 10, but now im 17 and I can drive as good as a nascar racer. I think that its not bad at all. And that when your young like 10 11 12 13 you should learn how to drive on roads with not much people at all, and if you have some property drive on it

if we can show that at 14 we can be responsible behind a wheel and take the written exam and driving test then i think we should be able to obtain a restricted liscense, this will give us more experiance driving and less when we finnaly do get a license
