Question: What if my parents don't want me to be emancipated?
Answer: If your parents or guardian object the court may send all of you to mediation where you may work out a solution. If you don’t reach an agreement the judge will decide whether to emancipate you or not based on what is in your best interests.

my story is not nearly as bad as the rest either but my parents are awful. my dad is a pastor & is a strait up hypicrite, my mom has the worst temper and im scared of her. they never want me to do anything, all they want me to do is stay at my house and i dont want to. i want to live with my sister, i'm always there anyway helping her with her kids and her husband who is quite sick. my parents dont like me over there and there is no reason why. i want to get emancipated and i dont know how.

id ont like to tlak about what my mom does to me. she has beaten me and left me alone with my sister for countless days. everything is about her boyfriend how always drinks and is also abusive. i dont know what to do. my boyfriend wants me to move in with him and get emanicipated but im so scared. im scared not of leaving home but what if she doesnt like it and comes back after me? i dont know please help me!

well lets start with I live with my dad and his girlfriend and I can't deal with her or the kids anymore I can't take this I want to live with another family member i don't feel at home living here and my mom lives in scranton with my older sister and my mom drinks alot so i can't live there either and my dad and i don't get along so well he trys to control my life and he wont let me pick my religon and won't listen to me at all i'm starting to have anger problems and i can't focus on anything anymore
