Question: What will happen if you don't come to a complete stop at a stop sign?

Answer: Usually, if you fail to come to a complete stop at a stop sign, then you have committed a "moving violation." If you are under 18, the penalties for a moving violation in Arizona are:

    • 1st Violation - If you attend Defensive Driving School your record will remain clean.
    • 2nd Violation (first conviction) - You must attend Traffic Survival School. Violation remains on record for 39 months.
    • 3rd Violation (second conviction) - 3 month suspension. Violation remains on record for 39 months.
    • 4th Violation (third conviction) - 6 month suspension. Violation remains on record for 39 months.

first of all, if a cop "is" there or someone observes you running a stop sign of course u will be fined. and if u dont come to a complete stop at a controlled intersection and you fail to yield completely and cause an accident your 100% at fault. thats how it is here.
