    Question: Can a teacher touch a minor without the minor's permission?

    Answer: By law, teachers are authorized to use physical force to stop a student from harming himself, another person or property. The amount of force must be limited to what is needed to stop the risk of harm.

    Corporal punishment (disciplinary spanking) is not allowed unless done in accordance with the polices of the school district. Most schools prohibit corporal punishment entirely. Except in these special situations, a teacher is expected to not touch a student without permission unless it occurs under circumstances where the touching is clearly inadvertent or harmless.

    my friend derek was in gym and we had a sub me and derek were sittin out when the other students were doing warm ups and useually mrs lintz (origanal teacher) will let the students that site out goin in the games so derek was going to play voliball and the sub came up to him and said u cant play derek said that it was f-in stupid so the sub placed his arm around his neck like trying to be buddy buddy with him and wouldnt let go so derek pushed his arm off of him and the sub took him down to the office and when they went out in the hall the sub placed his arm around him again is this illigal?

    At my high school they have outlawed hats. saying that the hats are an issue that they have to deal with constantly. the only problem is that when they took the hats away alot of people like myself did not listen to the rule and still wear hats. the reason i wear hats is because i recently broke my colar bone snow boarding and cant lift it high enough to do much of anything like mi hair. when a teacher sees a hat they times rip it off your head it jurks your head back. what i am wondering is if the hat is considered part of my body. and can we say dont touch me and no i wont give you my hat.
