Question: Is it constitutional for a PUBLIC school to enforce a school uniform such as Khaki pants and white shirts?

Answer: Yes. The Arizona Court of Appeals has ruled that a public school's mandatory student uniform requirement did not violate students' freedom of speech or any other civil liberty. Federal courts in other states have also upheld student uniform policies.

Uniforms arent that bad. Do people come to school to have a fashion show? Or do they come to learn? I realize that we like to wear what we want, and maybe it's more comfortable that way. But there are statisics behind why schools inforce uniforms. I certainly don't like to see the girls at my school have dressed when they come to school...it's nasty and it's no place for school.

i think that the little kids should have uniforms but i also think that we shouldnt have uniforms because we all have to express how we like to dress. just sometimes you have to be careful of what you wear. because what you think isnt gang related, is to the principal and the other teachers too. but just some of them. i just think that everyone should have the right to wear what they want to wear. just be careful!!!!!!!!

I think that kids should be able to wear the clothes that they want to wear. I dont think that there should be uniforms at public schools. I support my decisions that i have just made. i should know how it feels when everyone dresses the same. i had to. and it was all because of the people who invaded my ancestors homeland. then they made us dress just like them. im not here to make fun of the white people or anything i just think that everyone has a right to dress how they want to. i mean how boring would it be if everyone just dressed the same way everyday!!! i mean that wouldnt be very
