Question: Is it true that Arizona is the only state where possession of tobacco or tobacco products by minors is illegal?
Answer: As of February 28, 1997, Federal law does not allow retailers to sell cigarettes, tobacco, or smokeless tobacco to anyone under the age of 18. This law applies to all states. Laws regarding the possession of tobacco are left up to the individual states. Even though we have not been able to research all of the state laws, we do know that Arizona is not alone in the law prohibiting minors from possessing tobacco products.

I dont see why they put thatlaw that you have to b 18 to buy and use tobaco products i think the law is stupid even with the law we still find a way to get cigarettes so i dont see the point of the law ive been finding ways to get my cigarettes from friends and stuff so i think they should get rid of the law.

well yea we were at long beach and i ran a stop sign. the cop pulled me over and asked for my liscense and registration. after he got my paper work down he asked me to step out of my car. He searched me and found a pack of cigarettes on me. Luckily i didnt have any weed on me so that was the good part. the bad part is that they gave me a ticket for possesion of tabacco and disobeying traffic sign. How much is a possesion of tabacco ticket cost?
